* Texas Chemical Council (TCC) - Champion Technologies US Manufacturing Plants (Fresno and Odessa) are members of the Texas Chemical Council.

In 2010, the Odessa plant earned the Caring for Texas Award, which promotes continuous improvement by the chemical industry relative to their performance in community awareness, emergency response, security, and pollution prevention.

In 2010 and 2009, the Fresno plant earned the Distinguished Service Award, which is presented to facilities that have at least 50 percent attendance at TCC Occupational Safety Committee╒s meetings and have demonstrated improvement in their injury and illness incident rate for 2010, as compared to the previous 3 years.

In 2007, the TCC honored Champion╒s Fresno and Odessa plants with a ╥Caring for Texas╙ Award, given to plants that demonstrate exemplary results and commitment in the areas of community awareness, emergency response, pollution prevention and security.
* American Chemistry Council (ACC) - Champion is a member of the American Chemistry Council Responsible Care Program, which monitors and measures member company performance.
* Have a 5% improvement in the TRIR over the previous year
* Have a 4% improvement in LWD incidence rate over the previous year
* Have zero fatalities for the past calendar year
* Have a 20% improvement in High Priority Chemicals covered by publicly available product stewardship summaries

In 2005, ACC recognized the Fresno Plant with the ╥CERTIFICATE OF HONOR╙ for having no fatalities, zero days away from work cases and zero job transfers or restriction cases, according to OSHA 2005 guidelines.

Champion Asia Pacific Region received the China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) 2011 QSHE Performance Award.

Champion Technologies is actively participating in a global in the People Based Safety program; which combines the principles and processes of behavior based safety and is founded in the recognition that people are the source of excellent business results.

Champion Technologies drivers are trained according to the Smith System driving principles.
* National Safety Council (NSC) - Champion Technologies is a Member of the National Safety Council and has been the recipient of numerous awards in Occupational Excellence Achievement, Certificate of Merit, Occupational Significant Improvement and/or Fleet Significant Improvement within the US at the American Business Unit level, Manufacturing sites and the Houston Headquarters.

For 2011, the National Safety Council awarded Champion Technologies Houston Office with the Industry Leader Award. The award recognizes outstanding safety achievements of members and is based on the North American Industry Classification System code, lowest incidence rate and employee work hours. Only 52 companies╒ nation-wide received this recognition.
