Customer Training

We have created three tracks of customer focused training courses:

The Overview Track offers a brief overview of the company and what we have to offer. Afterwards, you will embark on a tour of our laboratory facilities to see the type of state-of-the-art testing you should expect from your chemical service provider. This overview track is tailored to individuals who are new to the oilfield chemicals industry or want an introduction to who Champion Technologies is and should take no longer than three to four hours with a lunch included.

Track 1 offers a one day high level overview of the chemicals industry. In this training, students are taught the basics about chemical treating along with what chemicals are available. This high level overview is tailored to our clients entering the field with very little knowledge of the chemicals industry and/or those who have less than two years of experience in the oil chemical treating process.

Track 2 offers an advanced two day training on capabilities available for each chemicals market and what we can offer in terms of value, technical assistance, research and development, etc. This track allows our clients a learning opportunity in which Champion Technologies will discuss the challenges confronting your operations and how chemical programs can help you meet those challenges.

If the following tracks do not meet your needs, we also offer short Lunch n’ Learns covering any of the following topics:

These Lunch ‘n Learns provide you with an opportunity to learn about one product line in a casual lunch setting.

Employee Training

To prepare deepwater operation team members for duty in the Gulf of Mexico and in other deepwater provinces around the world, we send them through our EDGEucation™ advanced training program. EDGEucation certified deepwater specialists not only are instructed in everything about the chemistries, application methods, and sampling and testing protocols used in deep water; they also must learn about the production strategy chosen by the operator of the project to which they are assigned, how production system component function and interact, normal ranges of key operating parameters, and more.

In addition, we require all of our employees to complete the Champion Technologies operational technical excellence program called COTE™, which teaches a standard methodology and process for delivering customer account management services. This ensures that our products and services are aligned with our customers’ goals and that each Champion Technologies employee performs his or her job at peak efficiency, safely and reliability.
